The people behind AREM
Ray Murray
AREM Construction has been in business since 2018. The owner/operator Ray Murray is a very hands-on person who is able to do almost anything! A perfect quote from the movie 6 Days 7 Nights: ”Aren’t you one of those guys?” “You know, you give him a pocket knife and a Q-Tip and he builds you a shopping mall!” Yes indeed that is Ray. A former supervisor for a large construction company in Ottawa, he has been in the business for over 30 years. Ray is a hard-working man who believes every problem has a solution which has served him well.
Lisa Northrup
Ray’s wife Lisa, has been around a long time and has enjoyed the ride. She has also achieved many things in her life including becoming a beekeeper. She is an avid photographer and is Ray’s “number 1” in the business. Her background is in health care, nonprofit and banking. Now she works solely for AREM where she looks after the people side of the business as well as all that paperwork stuff and many times you will see her on the job site as the “ground guy”. You will often talk to her more than Ray.
